Hello, I'm new to this board, but not new to collecting. I mostly go after interesting scandinavian glass, but will buy anything if it looks beautiful and interesting.
I found this vase yesterday and spent last evening trying to find something similar, or to identify the signature, but so far I've had no luck. According to the seller, he picked it up in northern Sweden, but second-hand, so it might not even be Scandinavian in origin.
I've been unable (obviously) to identify the signature/mark at the bottom, but the last part could be a year of manufacture (either '51 or 91' from what I can see). Also, it might say 'nr. 6' before the year mark, again I'm not entirely confident that that is the case.
The vase is 13cm tall and weighs 290gram, and when looking at the glass with sunlight in the background, the glass is slightly violet. It has a rough exterior, but smooth glass on the inside. The pattern/texture has gold/silver flecks in it, as well as black or dark purplish flecks, depending on the light conditions it is viewed in.
I hope someone here has seen this signature before and may be able to shed some more light on it. I've included links to pictures of the vase. The last picture is the signature at the bottom.

Thanks! That is probably right, it does look like his style when checking google pictures for examples of his work. :)
