Title: Can you help identify this?
Post by: kichigai on April 23, 2014, 04:09:47 PM
Hello can you help identify this?  Is it worth anything?  Thank you It is about 1 3/4 inches wide and has a serial number engraved in the bottom which is hard to make out but appears to be SW477

Hi kichigai, welcome to the GMB.

It would be very useful for later reference if you could load the images directly into this thread. By using an off-board image reference there is a likelihood that the photos will either disappear or the photo library used will change the actual image references.

You can add the photos here by using the "Attach" function below the text area in the Post reply page, and the "more attachments" to add up to four photos per post. If you have problems with the kilobyte size for loading to the Board, please just say and we will help you out.

Hi Kichigai,

I believe that this is and art glass marble by Douglas Sweet. The color palette and from what I can see of the cane detail are both consistent with his work.
