at least I think that's was it was intended to be. Each of the eight bosses is multi-faceted with a central hollow - makes for an attractive piece - about 3.25" tall by 4.5" wide, and heavy. The code appears on the foot rim and on the underside of the foot, where it's partly obliterated by wear, but looks to have been quite a flowery script. Looking at the seven, I'm inclined to think not Continental, and in view of the wear and use I would have thought pre 1930 and perhaps back to c. 1900, but not really sure.
Probably a long shot, but wondered if anyone might have a clue as to which factory this might have been. Thanks for looking :)

Seems odd marking like that. Possibility it was a pattern number and the piece kept in a glassworks reference store.
