Title: Georgian ? folded foot glass help please.
Post by: brucebanner on May 05, 2014, 05:27:41 PM
Hello there, i found four of these today at the car boot, i'm pretty confident there Georgian but the feet are huge, does that have a bearing on the age ?, a few seeds and inclusions in the feet only, there heavy lead glasses with a lot of dirt trapped in the creases of the feet and wear to the base rim edge, two have a similar border and the two are plain.

The small one is 4 1/4 inches in height, 2 1/4 inches across the rim and the foot is 2 3/4 inches.
The taller one is 4 3/4 inches in height  3/8th inches across the rim and the foot just over 2 3/4 inches .

Regards Chris.
