Title: Need ID on this Large Vase --Italian?

Another cool find today.VERY bright and cheery! .Italian maybe? No marks anywhere..measures about 13 inches tall x 5 inches wide.

Is there any wear to the base?
I've seen a few of these at auctions all over the place recently, listed as a variety of things.
I do wonder if they may be Chinese?
