i came across this gorgeous Murano weight this week, it unlike any i have had before, it is hand blown and lightweight being hollow and not solid like usual paperweights. it has a Aventurine gold fleck main body and then a selection of large millefiori pieces. there is a generic murano label on the base. but i was hoping if anyone may be able to ID the artist. it is similar in style to the likes of Toso. its also quite large measuring approx 10.5 cm in diameter.
thanks in advance

Hi Steven,
Labels with wording that translate as, "in the style (or techniques) of Murano" are not Murano labels. They are used for items made in other countries but using similar styles and techniques and sometimes made by workers who were trained in Murano or by Murano "masters".
