Title: Horse head, possibly Italian, maker sought?

Hello, hope I've done this right ?
I have a Glass horse head. Image attached. I have had it in the family for about 80yrs, its very large as in the size of a roasting tin and weighs a ton. Their used to be a small red round label under the base but it has worn away, I'm fairly sure its from italy maybe france, can anyone identify it. Would be much appreciated. Thanks Sean.

Quite probably your little red label said ' made in italy'
