I have been the custodian of the Berluze Vase for the last 11 years, but I've now decided that it is time for a new custodian to take over the ownership of this very special piece.
I do not particularly want to use EBay to sell the vase, so thought I would let true collectors here have a chance to buy this fantastic and very tall vase.
Its rarity does reflect in the price which is around £2,500.00.
So if you are interested, please email me - photos on request via e/mail.

As there is no pic, I had to go and look it up. :)
I found a large amethyst beast, pretty much in the shape I would normally describe as a being a volumetric flask, but I used to work in labs (and yes, I've used Monax).
So I am presuming you have a Monart piece in this shape. Like the Gullaskruf bottles - a big round base, with a very tall slim neck?
But you also say "The" Berluze vase. This confuses me because my brother has one, so if it's the shape I'm thinking of, yours isn't the only one.
But I'd love to know the colourway of yours!
My brother's is ambery yellows and I think there's a touch of blue going on around the middle of the base and some very fine goldy aventurine.

Hi Sue
I have problems loading photos on this site, but if you go to www.ysartglass.com and go to special shapes Al ...... and look at Shape CL, that is the Berluze Vase which I own.

Yes, that's my Berluze Vase. Thanks for uploading the picture

Thank you both!
It's not the same shape as my brother's at all. It has a flared neck and an extra set of curves above the main body, while my brother's is much more simple - a round base and tall slim unflared neck, much more akin to a Gullaskruf shape.
So the name "Berluze" was in homage to Schneider, very apt, given the pattern!
(But now I'm confused as to why Berluze came up in a search as being a volumetric flask shape.)

Just to let you all know that I am no longer the custodian of the Berluze Vase.

Delighted to hear you've had a successful transfer of custody. :)
