Hi, I just picked this vase up at a carbooty :) I think I would right in saying this vase is Pavel Hlava Exbor, 1960s? It is unsigned, 13 1/4" tall and weighs 2.5kg.
What Im finding unusual about this vase is the use of controlled bubble, I have searched hard for this but have been unable to find another example using this technique.
Also the base has a trough polished into it.
Has anyone else seen this before, is it rare? Experimental? TIA Wolfie

Hi Wolfie,
a friend of mine, who collects mainly Hlava, kindly spoke to a Hlava family member and they both agree with each other that it is a probably a Pavel Hlava vase circa 1960. Not modern Egermann or similar.
