hi, all, here i am again, this time a few new inquiries not sure origin etc. first up this very heavy cased aqua blue glass with deep aubergine purple centre, flat bottom, fabulous. i thought maybe poli, maybe seguso, maybe scandi?? thanks so much, and next item posted in separate listing. :)

The blue colour, the flatness of the base and the chunkiness remind me of Exbor.
-
:)Thanks so much, it also occured to us as a possibility. Wondering if we should wait for others to weigh in??? Not sure what to do...
-
;)Also, as the piece is not signed or marked in any way, could it not be a murano??? Any thoughts????
-
I really can't say much as I'm only going on what I have in my own collection. Safe to say someone else will come along and get it right ;D
I'd rather have more Exbor than more Murano though :)
-
;)indeed, exbor any day. what do i do now? leave this post as is or change the title to reflect still need feedback???
-
I think only a moderator can change text. It's all good, someone will be along at some point, I'm sure, not everyone is on at any one time. I have been collecting glass for 10 years (have had three incarnations on this site) in three different countries and still know very little. I do love your ashtray through. The blue is very like my exbor. Did you Google for the name.
You are in the US (I am British though), whereabouts, if that's not asking too much, I'm in Norcal. I find a lot of Czech glass here at Goodwill etc and some Murano, no British though. :(

I have trimmed and modified the title to include "Exbor?"
-
:)OK!
-
;)so no other replies: was wondering if someone can confirm the id of this ashtray?? thanks!

I would have assumed Murano for it, no idea which furnace though.
