Title: Does anyone recognise this uranium conserve pot?
Post by: Sendhandfran on June 03, 2014, 05:36:35 PM
Hi,
Lovely conserve or mustard pot maybe, in the shape of a pineapple.
Pressed uranium glass.
I guess c.1930/40s.
There no markings on it.

Thank you

Use depends on size. Mustards are small because it was only ever made in small quantities. I think that design is unknown if it is the same as this http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=2100

Hi Lustrestone, (Christine :)),
Thank you.
I wondered if it were a bit big for mustard.
It does look a bit like your jug.
I wonder if they are by the same 'unknown' :)

Cannot find an exact match of the shape of your pot and Christine's jug, however, the pattern reminds me of Libochovice TUDOR range - what do you think?

 TUDOR  (http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Libochovice-circa-1925-1928.118+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMTgmcHJvZHVjdElEPTUyMzgmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTE4JmRldGFpbD0_.0.html)  :)
