Title: Possible S. & W. multi-coloured spatter glass
Post by: Paul S. on June 08, 2014, 01:44:08 PM
Apologies if this is in the wrong place - wasn't quite sure where to post. :)

The larger pieces I've seen on two or three occasions, and I know we've discussed them before with, I believe, a possible S & W attribution.
This smaller example is a different type of colourway, but has the same overall looks and texture, plus it has the same ground/polished pontil depression.               About 4.25" tall, and quite heavy for size.
In the flesh the colours are green, blue, black, pale purple/amethyst, and/or pink.

Look forward to anyone's comments. :)

Like those Paul, not seen them in those colours, mine look quite plain ( id'd as S&W's ) if I remember correctly, ::) ;D ;D

thanks Keith.           I've seen the single colour versions many times - in fact I've just given several to the charity shop - but these multi-coloured ones are not common, and this is the first time I've seen a short little chappie with these colours.
Think you're right and they are probably S. & W., but they never seem to come with a backstamp of any kind, and I've yet to find a label. :)
