17 cm high, I presume Bohemian,heavy wear to the base,large polished pontil mark, ;D

I think it is tricky to date these, Egermann amd others have been producing these for more than 150 years

Thanks Ivo, I'd say this was reasonably early due to the weight, wear and quality compared to more recent production, ;D

Lovely pics Keith. 
17cm is 6 3/4" (just wondering whether that is too big for a perfume and too small for a decanter... and does it look as though it might have had a stopper in it at some point? )
Is there a number engraved on the inside neck  anywhere? (long shot).
It looks old to me - difficult to tell from pictures  but the wear to the gilding and the colour/density of the white overlay makes me feel it's an old piece (yikes, could be wrong of course:)  but I'd have bought it thinking that  ;D )

Hello M, no grinding for a stopper and no numbers, the wavy rim would make it difficult to pour any liquid, without making a mess  ::)  I think it's just a small vase, well I think so, ::) ;D ;D
