Hello!
I picked this up this morning because I loved it.
It's 10" 25cm tall with a lovely wavy rim, a large ground pontil and is signed TS or maybe SII?
The colour is like Whitefriars Arctic Blue
Does anybody recognise it please?
Thanks in advance :)

sorry, can't seem to be able to edit title. Vase, not Vased.. .
-
I have amended the title for you - and included "or" between Scandi & British. I have also reduced it a little to allow for an ID, assuming we can get one.
-
Thanks Kevin!

Looks very much like Per Lütken Akva vase to me which would normally be signed with the PL monogram. No idea on the SII or IIS though.
-
Is it a seconds mark?
-
Thank you! kisslikeether! :) It definitely is!
and Hi Christine
There's nothing, that I can see, to suggest it's a second.. odd!

It is a one AKVA Per Lütken vase. look here:

The mark I have found another place among Holmegaard work:

Could mean second sorting, but that's a guess.

Thank you Mikkel! :)

Holmegaard used to mark their seconds with either '2', 'II' or 'IIS' - I've had quite a few of them, and very often it's impossible to tell why it was discarded.
Possibly it was a conspiracy of naughty glass engravers earning a few kroner on the side.
