Hi - I am hoping someone will be able to help me identify the vase I bought recently. It is 23cm tall, very heavy and the inside is sand blasted (not sick). The maker's mark on the bottom is either sand blasted or acid etched. I would appreciate any information as to age, maker etc. I have attached a photo of the actual vase and one of the mark. Many thanks.

Josef Riedel. The mark is sandblasted.

Many thanks for such a speedy response!

It is CJR for Claus Josef Riedel, the vase dates to the 1960s or 70s. And quite probably designed by him, too.
Very nice!

Many thanks for the dates, now I can see the initials CJR in the logo.
