Looking for some clarity on this tall iridescent glass vase. It looks like fairly modern/recent production, but by who.? Fire polished top rim and snapped pontil mark to the base, which looks to have been heat finished/treated.
Seems familiar, although doesn’t speak with one coherent voice at present! - Reminds me a little of several different makers, Gozo, Phoenician, Kris Heaton Neo or even possibly Lazlo, however, not sure the base finish fits with some of these possibilities.
11.25 Inches tall / 3.25 inches wide / 640 grams.
All thoughts welcome.

A few close up pictures.....

Looking at the base treatment and other posts, now whispering Alum Bay. :)

The shape matches AB's bud vase: http://www.alumbayglass.co.uk/browse_prod_sub.php?sub=Glass-Bud-Vase&sid=43
Have not found the decor yet though.

Colours and techniques that could have been produced by somebody working with Siddy Langley or Norman Stuart-Clarke? :)

Many thanks for taking a look John and Sue, much appreciated :)
Just kindly received the following response back from Alum Bay:
"Yes I can confirm the vase in the picture you have sent was made here at
Alum Bay Glass. But unfortunately I am unable to tell you when it was made.
We used to make a colour called Venus and but around 2008 we could no longer
buy in the exact colour so we had to change the name to Persia as they were
very slightly different. By looking at the pictures you sent I cannot tell
which colour the vase is. I hope this helps."
So Alum Bay it is, in either their pre 2008 Venus colourway or post 2008 Persia colourway.
Nice to wrap this one up, my grateful thanks to all.
