I would love any information on this pitcher....it stands 5.75" and paper thin and light.

From the look of the base and from your description (paper thin and light) I would think this is lampwork.

It might be very difficult to find an attribution, lampwork does not require a studio or big expensive pots of molten glass, just a gas cylinder and a blow torch sort of thing.
