Title: Perthshire? or Strathearn
Post by: BobKegeles on August 03, 2014, 10:15:56 PM
I have a few "fuzzy" ones today, but I'll create different threads.

This piece (the blue grounded one) is unlabeled. Originally my thought was Strathearn from the canes.

However, I have a few that have Strathearn, and there ares ome significant differences which makes me wonder if this is actually a Perthshire instead.

I've included one photo of a labeled Strathearn (the orange one),to show the differences that I see.

The questionable one has taller sides, much higher ground, the top is flatter, and the edges are much "sharper".

Whereas the Strathearn has a top that slopes more to the sides, and is of course shorter, edges more rounded, and a much thinner ground.

Do you think I'm correct that the questionable item is not Strathearn, and therefore is Perthshire a good thought?

Thanks,

Bob

It screams Strathearn to me. It is very typical of their production.

I agree, definitely Strathearn.
