Title: Murano shark

Hi i was given this Murano shark by a relation who bought it from the Murano factory in Venice 35 years ago, weighs 5 and a half pounds and stands 17 inches tall just curious as to who the maker was any information gratefully received..Cheers Tassie

Icant see the signature very well bu the work looks like Licio Zanettis .  :-\

My eyes are not good but I thought I could see the long scrolling L That he used at that time but maybe not , Shark was one of his pet subjects , cheers good luck I am sure someone on here will know it .

Lightly rubbing talcum powder / fine flour into the signature and photographing it against a darker background should yield clearer shots.

It's not a familiar signature to me from the bits I can see, though. Sorry.

Thank you Pinkspoons i'll try that.  Frank googled  Formia shark  and yes i would say it came from there, Thanks for the info.
