Hi all, this little vase stands 5" tall and is a very subtle lovely blue colour, mould blown and ribbed with a polished pontil that veers off along way to one side, but very well done,it has a super ring with alot of wear making me think it may have been used for drinks, any thoughts many thanks. I should add it may be a second with a small white stone encased in the glass.

I think it may be Whitefriars pattern 9018 - although the catalogue entry which is in fact a drawing shows a slight difference in the shape of the foot - but I have found these drawings to be less than accurate when shown against "the real thing".

As for colour - this shade is always difficult to capture accurately - could be Emerald/ early Sky Blue or Peacock etc etc.......there is always a healthly debate around these colours which often look similar in a photo.

Thanks ,looks very close to me and would explain the wear to the foot and the very classy ring, the colour works very well on the shape disappearing nearly on the main body and then strong on the rim and foot.

here's another similar shape in amethyst which was also said to be 9018 - and same height of 5".
I agree the 'ring' is quite amazing, and it's what made me think of W/F's. Regret I can't help with the colour of yours, but great piece.
Edited to add..... I think were supposed to say Powell with this one.
