nice piece Keith  -  sounds a bit odd doesn't it saying  "here's a green plate from the 'Bristol Blue Glass Collection' -  don't think I've ever seen green, so agree it must be thin on the ground.

It was referred to as Bristol Green, so not from the Bristol Blue collection! :)

thanks David  -  so what did the green look like that was part of the Bristol Blue Glass Collection?
Perhaps Keith has a piece to show us. :)

According to 20th CBG, page 304 'The Bristol Blue Collection of 1975....each item was available in blue,amethyst and green'   Bristol amethyst sounds very strange, I've three in green and one lidded pot in amethyst so a few more to get  ::)

thanks Keith  -  my comments were really only intended to be a little humorous, and your green bowl is very much a Bristol green as David says...............   from a Bristol Blue Collection ;D

Ah sorry, I know what I was thinking of:
http://www.bristol-glass.co.uk/Blue-Glass/

This company used to produce a "Bristol Green" glass range, some of which did look a little like Webbs.

I'll get me coat...  ::)
