Title: old vase with interesting fetures
Post by: essi on September 05, 2014, 11:25:04 PM
sorry to post another enquiry about swirls and bubbles but does anybody recognize this shape or style?
I think this shows good signs of wear maybe 30"s or 40".
6" tall and 5.25"dia at the top.
pink champagne in colour cased in clear with one or two bits of black inclusions.
any help appreciated

Nazeing (ish) but probably not... perhaps an Elwell item? (search board for Elwell)

thanks for that frank. after scrolling through the images you can sort of see similar shaped bases and shapes.
it does look a plain piece of glass but someone may recognize it. I don't think it is Hartley wood, but???????
