Perfume bottles are not really an area of interest for me but occasionally I see something that I really like. Such was the case early this summer when I saw this bottle at a local show.
With the help of some folks in the USA I found the following information:
Produce by: Johann Umann
Production Date: 1929
Decor: 5.5” perfume bottle pressed glass with stylised fish
The stopper number and bottle number match. The bottle was designed in the 1920’s by Johann Umann and was featured as part of a set in his 1929 catalogue.

Mac, that is fabulous! I've seen the catalogue image but it looks so much better in reality - the catalogue really doesn't do it justice! We had another Umann piece on the board a while ago - they are fascinating designs:

Hi,
I am an avid perfume bottle collector. Umann made some wonderful atomizers and powder boxes. The glass is unique and so is the hardware. Here is one of mine. They are hard to find.
