Title: Malta Decorative Glass labels

Hi Guys, Im interested in the different style of MDG labels. Can anyone put up pics of the different shapes, I particularly interested in ones that might be round or octagonal. Im aware of this rectangular shape on my whale, cheers Wolfie

The only MDG label photo I have is of that very same label...

I believe there are at least one or two other variations on this board though. Have you searched for them here? Sorry, don't have time myself right now.

I've only got rectangular paper labels like yours, but I do have a couple of pieces with an MDG Maltese cross impressed into the base, would you like images of those?
I've searched and can't find any on my pc, I'd have to take pics.
The cross is a different shape to the one used at Mdina - it has a v-shape in its "legs".

This was the clearest of those photos Sue, just found the copies. The second mark was not so well defined.

16mm diameter found another 'Chinese' weight yesterday quite well made compared to some I have seen that also had the Craft Glass label on

Went back today to get a better picture but it had gone very Chinese looking with a big coloured flower

There seems to be 2 types of rectangular labels............  With and without the 'Hand Made'

Well spotted Patrick! My way of thinking is round came first, then square, then square with Hand Made?
