Hello all,
This unique piece features a ribbed mottled blue & green encasement, a cold cut geometric surface pattern with copper electroformed to the cut crevasses. This is a time consuming and rare technique the only paperweight artist I know of that does electroforming is Andrew Fote but the signature doesn't add up. It is about 3-1/2" in diameter, spherical with no flat surface and hand signed, "DV 95". The seller said it was purchased from the gift shop of the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass.
Does any of this spark anything with anyone?
Thanks,
Eric
