Seen a number of similar pieces attributed to Stuart, 6 inches tall, quite thin glass with moulded base, opinions please, ;D

Waited a week no ideas, anyone ? ;D ;D

Keith — Not seen this pattern before (four? thick bands, each composed of five? adjacent ridges). I would have expected this pattern to be vertical in the dip mould, with the twist added during manufacture. I've looked in my books and can't find it.
I would be interested in an image of the base — even if it doesn't halp attribute, it might eliminate one or two possibilities.

for some reason Stevens and Williams stuck in my head when I saw this.
I would search that first if it were me (Can't say for sure but I would just lean to searching S&W before Stuart to be honest)
I did a quick google and this one came up attributed to S&W and it might be this kind of thing that I was remembering when I saw yours.

I'll try and have a book search later ... ohh Gulliver's have you looked in there yet?

Hello M, Bernard, have looked in Gullivers, couldn't see anything there, I'm sure I've seen something somewhere, the link does look similar. The base has lots of tiny bubbles and grit, thanks for looking, ;D ;D

:-\ not sure now having seen the base.
Nothing the same nor anything I can see with ridges in my catalogue pages either (I don't have very many of them though). Sorry.
I don't know whether the one I linked to is or is not S& W but also it's difficult to tell but it seems to perhaps have a pontil mark on it where yours doesn't.
I think I am remembering a ridged S&W vase though,in a darker green, more squat than your vase.
I'll try and see if I can find it.

Thanks M, I'll check through my other books, ;D ;D

A diversion but this one is signed with an acid etched mark S-W and appears to be the same pattern as the example I linked to above.
It's not the same as yours I know, but thought I''d add it for comparison as it is marked on the pontil mark on the base.
