One for the archives , Greener & Co, clam shell bowl (with added handles) plus lid both with registration number 113896. The lid is smooth on the outside , the relief pattern being internal as opposed to the base which is external (height 7 inches) . It might be possible to make a blancmange with the lid if I can keep it upright for long enough ::) !

Thank you for showing this, Mike, but I think you have given the wrong link to the Glass Queries Gallery (its shows the lozenge for Sowerby RD 345044 of 9 January 1880).
I think you mean
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-15255
and the adjacent thumbnails.
Particularly nice to have the bowl and lid.
Greener & Co. RD 113896 was registered on 15 November 1888. Thompson (page 15) describes it as “shell and chain effect” so presumably the design registration was for the pattern rather than the shape.

I was just going to say I recognise that pattern... and you've beaten me to posting the link to the pics of my bowls. :)
