My grandmother collected many antiques throughout her life while also inheriting many generational antiques. She passed away in 1993 and everything was placed in storage until my mother passed away. Now I am going through everything and I came across this round, lidded glass bowl. It is 9 inches tall (with the lid) and 7.5 inches diameter. It has no maker's mark that I could find. It has several cooling marks and included bubbles. I believe it has a cut glass bottom that has "caved in" when it was made - from the inside there is a slight smooth bump where the "caved in" area is (I don't know how else to describe it ???). The "caved in" area isn't really visible - one would have to be looking for it - you can definitely feel it when you run your fingers over the bottom though. Otherwise, this bowl is perfect - no scratching from use, no chips or breaks, or damage whatsoever.
I am planning on selling this item on eBay and using the link through this website so I would greatly appreciate any and all information from anyone so that I may more accurately list the bowl and possibly fetch a higher price for it.
