My first thoughts were could be Scottish Perthshire maybe with that base finish?
Any thoughts welcome.
-
Base... the casing as a green tinge to it ?
-
Chris - just to say that I've looked through the Nazeing book but can't see this shape, so in case anyone suggested that origin I have looked and probably not that factory - despite the similarity with Nazeing's lilacs and purples.
-
I saw a similar one at auction - I thought it may be Caithness but I really don't know - looking at the bubbles and enamels they are a but Nazeing like, the rest doesn't look right for them!
-
Thanks for that Paul, not had much Nazeing but the pieces I have seen the bases were quite a tidy finish and the shape didn't come up in any searches on line.
I think I then thought Scottish maybe Roberta but again the base put me off apart from maybe Perthshire which I am assured by my very good friend Mr Millar it ain't.

Selkirk sprung to mind because of the decor and colours, however seeing the base I thought not. Also the base and the greeny casing does make me think Nazeing (likewise the bubbles) - sorry, I know Paul has said he's searched the shape and not there.
Maybe Nazeing for Elwell?

sorry, that was the limit of my abilities I think ;D we need a Nazeing expert to deny or affirm

Elwell, made by Nazeing IMHO.
