Title: Glass vase with green frosted glass and slight decoration (art nouveau, perhaps?
Post by: ScandinavianGlassaholic on October 29, 2014, 11:24:41 PM
Hi,

I bought this vase about a year ago, and have been unable to identify it. My first thought was that it looked art nouveau or perhaps art deco in style. The green color doesn't look like it was painted on, but looks a little like frosted glass. There are also cut lines on it, as can be seen on the pictures. There is a fair amount of wear at the bottom. The bottom has been ground. The vase is 26cm tall.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

The design reminds me of one I saw on some Mikasa wine glasses a few years ago. Mikasa is a collection, not a maker, but if you Google them you may find similar examples to help you along.
