Title: Isle Of Wight Paperweight?

Hi

I picked this paperweight up the other day from a charity shop as it is very similar, in size and style, to one which I already have that is signed by Michael Harris. Can anyone confirm if this one (Unsigned) is also Isle of Wight Glass?

Hard to say for sure, with no flame mark or label. I do think it is highly likely it is IoWSG, but it could also be Kerry, as this internal colouring was a pattern used in both places, in both pwts and in small lollipops.
The pedestal is perfectly correct.
But I'm afraid pwts are not an area I know very much about at all.

I would go with Isle of Wight - never seen a pedestal weight from Kerry.

I've seen very few bits of Kerry. All I do know is this particular internal colouring was used in both places.

Swirly colours were used at both but not the pedestal shape as far as I know.

Isle of Wight was what shouted out to me when I spot it, which I why I picked it up. But I have never seen any Kerry so I will have a browse in case I spot any of that in the future.

Many Kerry weights were made with swirling green colours and marketed (especially in the States) as "Forty Shades of Green", these green swirly weights are not that hard to find here.

The following pink swirly weight has a 'reversed' flame mark on the base which is very helpful when it comes to identification, making it easy to be confident it is from Kerry and not Isle of Wight Studio Glass.

But just to confuse things, not all the Kerry flame marks are reversed, just some of them.
