Title: My first Chinese white
Post by: Lustrousstone on November 01, 2014, 07:00:12 PM
Rather pretty with nice chrysanths, but dodgy bird, and cheep  ;D  I can't work out which way up he should go

 :)
Sticks and branches towards the bottom, flowers towards the top.
I don't know which way up or down the bird goes. ;)

Would this have some age to it? I've certainly not seen a Chinese White before.

Looks like a robin to me, upside down but when you turn it round the foliage looks a bit odd ::) ;D

 :o

I've only just "got" the upside-down robin - I thought it was a crow. I can see a sort of birdy face in one of the robin's wings - with an air bubble for an eye. I suspect the air bubble redirected my vague thoughts in the wrong direction.
Foliage can look odd, quite naturally. :)
I think it's a better robin than it is a crow, so you might just have to tolerate odd foliage. Or maybe just on odd days? You would then just have to tolerate an odd bird on the other days. ;D

That is better.
Birds do go poking around the bottoms of bushes, if you get down to their level to watch them, the foliage can easily look like that.
