Post by: vanmann on November 04, 2014, 08:34:26 PM
Any ideas please on maker of this pressed glass frosted bowl. 7 1/2 inches diameter it features a linked circle pattern around side and leaf pattern to base.
All suggestions much appreciated,
John

no suggestions I'm afraid John  -  I have looked at Pamela's pressglas-pavillon but wasn't aware of seeing it, although haven't tried the glas musterbuch - it's too vast.
This type of flared pedestal foot support looks to be untypical of the period covered by most of the pieces on Pamela's catalogue  -  that's not a scientific comment, just that 99% of bowls do not have this type of support, although it may still be from that era.

You don't comment on wear, nor say whether this is uranium.

It would be more than helpful, and save time, if requests for potential Continental pressed pieces also commented whether op's had looked at Pamela's catalogues, or not :)

I did look through Pamela's catalogue with no sccess but hoped someone may recognise it . There is very little sign of wear Paul and apparently no (or very little) uranium content
