Please can we see the signature on the second figure as well... just so we can compare them. 
Sorry to ask for more pictures,  but the more we see, the more we can try to help. :)

Added:  Could they be Mexican figures rather than Chinese figures???

Hi, I think all the pictures you have posted are of the same base of the same figure,  it would be good to see the base of both of them with the same magnification as the original picture as that was greatly enlarged and much easier to see.

Do the figures have a pigtail at the back and a pointy beard or do they have a droopy moustache?  That would help to know as well.

Mexican figures rather than Oriental by the look of them, similar to some made by Oball but I don't recognise the signature.

I have compared it with the signature of Franco Toffolo, but there is no match.

it reads Gaggio Murano I think, but that doesn't appear to throw up any designs when I did a quick search apart from beads?
