I'm stumped about the maker of this paperweight. I have seen examples similar to this by Saint Louis and the Kontes Brothers. It doesn't have a signature cane or markings of any kind. I have researched a lot of paperweight books and have not seen anything like this. The closest I saw was James Kontes's glass paperweight that was very similar except the basket was a different color and it had two varieties of fruit in it. I'm some what confident that it is not an antique, the color of the glass seems more like 20th century. This does not appear to be a common paperweight, any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Can you post a side view and base. Could be a Murano piece as I have seen some similar to this.

The ribbon handle strongly suggests Murano mid 20th century (it is a known design as well..), but other images will help.

Thank for your responses, I have enclosed more pictures.

Hi. Thanks for the extra images. I am fairly sure it is a Murano piece: the flat polished base, ribbon structure and latticino basket are all typical Murano style.

Most definitely NOT Kontes strawberries.
Here are some examples of their strawberry weights.
{FWIW, James Kontes of New Jersey, USA recently passed away, he was over 90 }
I took this picture of him holding one of his weights in our collection at the Paperweight Fest at Wheaton Arts this past spring.
