Title: Nearly a Whitefriars 9287, but too small. ID = 9354 design
Post by: Bernard C on November 18, 2014, 06:00:10 PM
See GlassGallery images, each with click main image to enlarge feature:
  • View from slightly above (http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-20860)
  • View from slightly below, showing light lobing (http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-20861)
  • Height 4¼" 10.8cm, weight 1lb 3½oz 550g, five definite but very light lobes, 15 bubbles per ring.

This looks like a Whitefriars 9287, but is one third smaller than the one shown in the 1949 Pattern Book.

Is it Whitefriars?   Do lobed pieces have lobes this faint?   Any ideas on dates, pattern number, colour (Sapphire Blue?)
