I have an unusual Scottish paneled millefiori paperweight on a clear ground. I suspect Ysart Brothers or Salvador Ysart as the maker, but would like to hear the opinions of the experts on this board. It is 3" diameter by 2" high.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Allan. I had a similar piece, with the same white/orange canes, and assumed it was Ysart Bros/Vasart, rather than a Salvador piece. My feeling was probably Vasart, but I was not certain.

Thanks Alan,
Is yours on a clear ground? I've never seen a Vasart paperweight on a clear ground.

Hi Allan. I have had (still have?) several on clear ground.

Thanks Alan,
I was hoping someone would provide some insight on the strange (to me) 880 canes.

Hi Allan. I think it is serendipity that it looks like 880 - I suspect it was meant to be a complete ring of circles, and something went wrong in preparing the cane. I have seen various strange canes from that era.
