Title: F MORIN signature
Post by: Bottlecollector on January 02, 2015, 07:29:44 PM
Dear forum members,

again please help on this:

What does a signature like F MORIN mean? (Date like DD-MM-JJ below)

I've only heared about Claude Morin (married to Florance Morin, son Frederic Morin, etc.)
The F is unmistakeable F (not a C with a small stroke that could be read as F)

Found a vase today in a antique store, didn't take the vase, didn't take a picture. Sorry.

Thanks for any idea in advance!

clueless,
Martin

Old or modern? Is is engraved or etched mark? Framed or just letters? No obvious contender.

Sorry, can't answer all this, because I do not own the signed object, just saw it
at a antique dealers store. Just wanted to know, if there are any other glass artists,
named MORIN, except from Claude. (Possibly with a name that holds F as first letter.)
Thanks for your reply.
Martin
