Good as I am at asking questions here I am maybe answering one. I have a memory of someone at some time seeking to identify either a weight similar to this or one with canes similar to this. Anyway - purely for information pictures below of this labelled weight that I have. It is 3ins wide x 2 3/8ins high and weighs 515g. Happy for anyone to use the images in any way they wish.

By the canes I'd have said this was a Fratelli Toso weight with the label possibly being a retailers label as it translates as The Most Serene Murano. Not a glass makers name I've come across?

Hi. 'La Serenissima' is just the traditional nickname for Venice - so it is a shop label, on a weight made with FT canes, as Nick says.
