Hello all, I have a signed vase that I would like to identify if possible. The vase stands at just over 9" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter,it has etched marks to the base that I am unsure about, they seem to read something like: PONT AVEM.TOULUNMONDE. LE FUSHEE.However I will be delighted if somebody can tell me anything about this piece.
The shape is irregular with the cylindrical form being a little mis-shapen and there is age related wear.I have researched the piece,so far without success!.Any advice will be appreciated.
Many thanks,Chris

from the glassmakers at Pont Aven in Brittany, not hard to find at all. They have been in business for 12 years.

Hi,
Looking online, I think this reads 'Pont Aven' which is located in Brittany, France. There are references to a Glassworks on the harbour 'Verrerie Le Quai' run by Olivier Le Fustec, which I think is the surname name on your vase.
The company 'Verrerie Le Quai', looks to have been established in 1997, according to the company background:

A couple of other examples of by Fustec for comparison....

Not immediately sure what he other name relates to on your vase, however, this looks like the right place. Hope this helps.
