Hi All,
I bought this vase the other day, it was very dirty, but I gambled that underneath the grime was a nice wee vase. Its approx 15cm tall. It has a polished pontil and wear to the base. The decoration is a white thread decoration ( I'm sure its got a technical name! ) within, that seems to be rising from the bottom. Its a good shape, nice decoration, I hope someone recognises it for me!
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, David

Definitely Czech. I've seen a brown labelled one. Here is mine http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=1623

Hi Christine, thanks for a quick reply and your info, combed lattice! Knew it would have a technical name😃 I have lost my wee torch to test for UV reaction, I hadn't even thought it might show. I will invest in another one ASAP! Czech as an origin I wouldn't have guessed, will dig deeper now.
Thanks again, David
