Title: Elephant and palm tree help please.
Post by: brucebanner on January 31, 2015, 08:50:01 PM
I have found two of these listed as Thomas Webb 1920's 30's in date, I seem to be collecting Bimini type glass, god knows where it comes from and I have a feeling this might remain unknown, it's in perfect condition for such a fragile piece.

It's beautifully detailed for such a small piece of glass, I'm thinking it might be Murano?.

4 1/2 inches in height. The elephant is just under 1 1/2 inches in height.

Any help welcome regards Chris.

It's not a Thomas Webb one, but unfortunately every man and his dog made/makes lampwork. It doesn't look Lauscha/Bimini to me either

Might it be related to John's parrot? (also unidentified)

The base is quite different, but there is a textured amber branch/tree bit...
