Title: Victorian Cased Uranium Glass Enamelled Vase
Post by: mhgcgolfclub on February 07, 2015, 09:04:24 PM
Help to Id vase please.

A Victorian cased uranium glass vase with hand painted enamelled small flowers in pink and gold with 2 applied clear glass handles.

The vase is blue at the top fading to very pale blue / white at the base, with a white interior.

I am not sure of the maker but I thought Thomas Webb may be a possibility, but there may be others  who made similar vases.
The vase is marked on the base in gold 61.63.
The vase does glow quite brightly under a UV light.

Height 6.75" / 17.5cm
Weight 860gm

Thanks Roy

nice piece Roy  -  nothing in Mervyn Gulliver that comes close.           The handles appear to have 'thorns' at the lower end??
