Title: MDG fish with label...........

Hi,
 Got these on Ebay from the same source as http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,59258.0.html

The taller one on the right arrived broken at the base....... ( I have repaired it )

The one on the left was sent as a replacement and arrived in one piece.  :)

Pattern number is 7001.

Certainly influenced by the chinese these ones!

Hi,

I have found more fish that are VERY similar in construction to the labeled example.........

The Yellow has a 6 lobed base and the others have an 8 lobed base.

If not made in Malta they are certainly from the same glassblowers !

Yes, Im of the opinion that when the Chinese left Malta they carried on producing them back home!
