Title: ID Help on custard glass bird vase. ID = Sowerby

Any idea of maker for this vase? Custard yellowish color glass 5" tall.

I would think Sowerby is a strong candidate for this for one, although please hang fire for further confirmation.  :)

Queens Ivory ware was also a pale custard colour, and will glow under the uv torch...........   Ivory ware is usually distinctive insofar as the moulding is more crisp than ordinary Sowerby pressed glass, or at least that's my impression, and mostly does have the peacock head trade mark.     
If this glows it Queens Ivory, if not then it's simply one of the several shades of Vitro-Porcelain.
