I have been puzzling over this one for the last week, i have had a good look for something similar and drawn a blank, i think it's a creamer or it might be just a small vase, it has loads of wear to the outer surface of the glass body and heavy wear to the outer base rim and it does not weigh all that much, inside was black with dirt and worn, several white stones or seeds in the clear portion of the glass and a rough pontil.
5 inches in height and 2 1/4 inches across the base.
Any thoughts welcome regards Chris.

regret I don't see this as ever having been made with cream in mind, Chris - and despite the handle attachment, pontil scar and wear, I don't think it's as old as it's trying to look. Possibly a small vase, but perhaps more along the lines of being purely decorative.
If you look at creamers and jugs pre 1830 -40, it's noticeable how the colour of the handles was the same as that of the body.
How about Venetian revival c. 1890 - failing which a tourist piece middle third C20 :)

Thanks Paul I did think a piece of 50's Murano but it's too worn I was thinking Victorian late 1900's 10p I love it
