Post by: Gowdod on March 09, 2015, 06:06:31 PM
This time possibly a Stourbridge piece. Who by?  S&W? Flying a kite of fancy however nice fine pieces of glass.

Happy times.

Kind Regards

This one is similar, well made with a polished pontil and at a guess brand new, perhaps the confusion Keith.

5 1/2 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches across the rim and 2 1/2 across the base.

Photo's from my ancient laptop.

The piece in the ebay link from Chris may, or may not, be from the Gulf of Venice - but judging by the bidding a variety of people considered it of interest, despite the lack of obvious provenance/attribution.

In view of the overall comments from the seller, do the bidders see something I don't - is this screaming Murano, and I've missed the point.      Glass with a Murano label is prolific, but signatures seem far less common.

More to the point, regret I'm unable to help the op. :)
