Title: Bright blue cylinder vase, probably scandinavian. But who is the maker?
Post by: woerro on March 15, 2015, 02:05:58 PM
Nice bright blue cylinder vase. Unmarked, but probably a 1960-1970's vase made in Scandinavia. But by which factory or maker?

Does anyone recognize this vase?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,

Hiya again.
I would think this vase was made by Krosno of Poland, somewhere around the turn of the century.

I vote for Gral-Glas, Germany. :)
From a range called "Las Palmas", designed in 1965 by Roland Pösch.

That colour is quite distinctive, and though I cannot see the base design properly in the pics, I think it is the same as >> this one (http://www.glaskilian.de/Grosse_Gral-Glas_Vase_LAS_PALM.994+B6YmFja1BJRD05OTQmcHJvZHVjdElEPTM0MDY2JnBpZF9wcm9kdWN0PTk5NCZkZXRhaWw9.0.html)
(I checked the Gral-Glas book, the reference given is correct).
