Can anyone please tell me what this signature says? I've looked at it all ways and I can't figure it out! Thanks in hope. :) http://oneofakindantiques.com/product/8595/Pair-Art-Deco-glass-candlesticks-3.htm

I cannot decifer the signature either. I will say that odds are 90+% these were made in U.S. during the late 60s, early 70s. These laminated plate glass pieces, mostly sculptures were being made by individual artists...not art glass studios so finding the artist that produced it may be a very difficult task. The movement did not catch on...that I can tell you & I run across pieces like this from time to time which as loosely called post-modern & most of them are frankly not at all expensive & just set around unsold. They are however very heavy as the plate glass pieces used are usually 1/4" to 1/2" thick. Sorry I know its not what you were looking for.

The pix don't blow up so can't seem to get any magnification - and presumably the seller doesn't know either. Somehow they don't quite do it for me - they're not convincing me of their deco heritage - although appreciate that black on clear and lots of square/angular shaping, were trademarks of that style. Possibly being a little too clever for themselves, and I'd tend to agree with Ken's comments.
Are you thinking of being their new owner Anne - quite a snip at that price. ;) ;D

Hope you don't mind...I changed photo to B&W & tried to enhance, but even under on screen magnification using a 10X loop I still cannot make it out. Maybe someone can.

Thanks both. :)
I also though they were far more modern than intimated in the listing, but was interested in case they were part of a set (GTS!) I don't think we can leave that image on the board though as it's someone else's copyright so it'll have to be removed, Ken, but thank you for trying to enhance it. To me they seem to be copying the style seen in some of the Czech art deco sets but using more modern materials and construction - I don't dislike them but I can't say they excite me either. :-\
Paul, nope not at that price! ;)

Managed to find larger images! Not sure if they help though...
