Title: Please help identify this beautiful Large Lavender Decanter and glasses
Post by: noellanix on March 23, 2015, 07:41:19 AM
Hi everyone! Im new here and I'm from Australia.
Ive been collecting retro glassware for a while now, but today i came across something extra beautiful and i would like more information on it.
Ive been on google for hours to no avail, i cannot, for the life of me, find anything similar to what i found today.
Its missing a glass :( but its still gorgeous.

Can anyone please help me with identification?
There is what looks to be a '720' written in Gold underneath the crystal topper and also inside the rim of decanter, that one is in gold also. The number seems to be right inside the glass, not written on the outside, very strange no idea how they did it.

Any help would be much appreciated as i took the set to my local Antique store and all they could tell me was that it was Japanese.
They weren't much help.

Thanks in advance  ;D

Appears to be '720'
written in gold paint?
Also written inside the mouth of the decanter

Welcome to the GMB. Can we have a shot of the decanter close up and on its own, base and rim shots too. You can post four pictures per reply. I doubt the number is in the glass and I think it is 120, as that is Continental one rather than a seven.
